How do I buy tickets online?

You can buy advance tickets for exhibitions and some events in our webshop. Below, you can find answers to the most common questions about buying and using tickets. We are constantly developing our new webshop – thank you for your patience!

Where can I access the Sinebrychoff Art Museum webshop?

You can find the Tickets button in the header of our website. 

How much does a ticket bought online cost?

The price of our standard ticket is €19, and the price of a concession ticket is €13 (18–24-year-olds, students, pensioners, unemployed, conscripts, and non-military conscripts). Admission is free for under 18-year-olds. There are no additional fees for tickets bought online.

The webshop also accepts various yearly passes (including the Museum Card, a press card, and the Friends of the Sinebrychoff Art Museum and Finnish National Gallery membership cards) as means of payment. You can also book tickets for people under 18 in the webshop. Eligibility for a concession or free ticket is checked upon ticket inspection at the museum.

What payment methods are used in the webshop?

Payments are transferred via the Paytrail service. The service lets you pay using online banking services or payment cards (credit/debit). Your bank statement or payment card invoice will show Paytrail Oyj as the payee.

The following payment methods are available: payment via the Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankki banks, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken and Ålandsbanken online banking services; mobile payment via MobilePay; payment using Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Masterpass and MasterCard cards; or payment using the Walley.

Do I have to buy an advance ticket? Can I buy a ticket at the museum?

Tickets are also sold on-site at the museum. Ticket sales at the door end half an hour before the museum’s closing time.

Can I buy an advance ticket with a Museum Card?

You can buy an advance ticket from the webshop using a Museum Card. First, when in the webshop, select the date and time you want. Then, select “Booking with Museum Card”, and click the Buy button. Please be prepared to show your Museum Card upon arrival at the museum.

Can I buy an advance ticket to an event at the Sinebrychoff Art Museum?

We recommend that you buy tickets for events in advance from our website. You can, however, also buy tickets for events on-site at our ticket office.

When buying a ticket for an event, you have to select the date of the event in the calendar to be able to buy the ticket. Tickets for events will be on sale until one hour before the event

Where do I show my advance ticket when I arrive at the museum?

Museum visitors who have bought tickets in advance show the ticket at the museum’s cash desk upon arrival. Museum tickets are sold on a daily basis. You can visit the museum freely on that day during the museum’s opening hours.

I am unable to use the advance ticket I bought. Can I get a refund for an unused ticket?

The advance tickets for museum exhibitions are currently not sold out, so you can use your pre-bought ticket to visit us at another time that suits you. You do not need to notify the Sinebrychoff Art Museum customer service of the change in your time of arrival – just arrive at your convenience. Tickets are transferable, so you can pass your ticket on to someone else. Please bare in mind that if you have purchased a Museum card ticket or a discounted ticket, the person using the ticket must meet these requirements.

We will refund a ticket in cases where the fault is ours.

I have bought an advance ticket for the wrong time. What can I do?

The advance tickets for Sinebrychoff Art Museum exhibitions are currently not sold out, so you can use your pre-bought ticket to visit us at another time that suits you. You do not need to notify the museum customer service of the change in your time of arrival – just arrive at your convenience. Please note! This guideline does not apply to tickets for events.

Tickets are transferable, so you can pass your ticket on to someone else. Please bare in mind that if you have purchased a Museum card ticket or a discounted ticket, the person using the ticket must meet these requirements.

Can I buy advance tickets by means of an invoice?

When you pay with Walley, you can buy tickets by means of an invoice.
