The senior conservator, Liisa Kantanen, talks about caring for woodblock prints and preparing them for exhibition.

Kantanen graduated as a conservator from the University of Gothenburg in 2008, and she has worked as a paper conservator at the Finnish National Gallery since 2014. She is also a trained visual artist.

Kantanen lived in Japan from 2004 to 2006, and now that she has been busy preparing the woodblock prints for exhibition, she has found a special joy in Japanese visual storytelling.
